SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Joseph Robert Compell, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, He had been the Village Clerk of River Grove for many years and was a member of the River Grove Lions Club, the River Grove Nationals, and a Commissioner of the Historical House in River Grove, and was a member of the Rhodes School Board; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Robert Compell was the beloved husband of Elaine C., nee Courtney, for 50 wonderful years; the loving father of Michael J. (Suzan) Compell and Julie A. (Jeff Bucar) Lugiai; the beloved son of Kathryn, nee Domkowski, and the late Joseph J. Compell; the fond grandfather of Rachel (Jason Chapman) Lugiai, Clayton (Amanda) Compell, and Candice Lugiai; the great-grandfather of Zachari, Joey, and Gianna; and the dear brother of Jerry Compell and Joyce (the late Bill) Wolter; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Joseph Robert Compell; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joseph Robert Compell as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
