SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Phyllis Manola of Palatine, who passed away on March 18, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Phyllis Manola was born on March 28, 1922 in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Phyllis Manola was the beloved wife of the late Vito Manola Sr.; the loving mother of Vito Jr. (Gina) Manola and Mary Lou Manola; the cherished grandmother of Ross Caruso and Anthony (Jackie), Dominic, Vito, and Angelina Manola; the great-grandmother of Grace Michele Manola; and the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, Phyllis Manola's love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Phyllis Manola; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Phyllis Manola as an expression of our sympathy.
