SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Harold J. "Hal" Predovich of Naperville,
4 formerly of Mt. Prospect and Plainfield, who passed away on
5 March 21, 2009; and
 
6     WHEREAS, Harold Predovich was born on July 8, 1931 in
7 Denver, Colorado; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Harold Predovich served his country with pride and
9 distinction as a member of the U.S. Navy Seabees from 1953 to
10 1956; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Harold Predovich retired from United Airlines in
12 1993 after 35 years of service; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Harold Predovich was an active member of his
14 community; he served as the Chairman of the Downtown
15 Redevelopment Commission of Mount Prospect for 25 years and was
16 an active member of St. Raymond de Penafort Catholic Church;
17 and
 
18     WHEREAS, Harold Predovich was the loving husband of
19 Kathleen, nee Evans, Predovich, whom he married on February 9,
20 1963; the beloved father of Janet (Lee) LaRocque, Mark

1 (Roberta) Predovich, Michael (Brenda) Predovich, Anne-Marie
2 (Tim) Taylor, and Elaine (Jason) Caravello; the adored
3 grandfather of Christie, Cailin, and Adam LaRocque, Tommy and
4 Kerri Predovich, Sarah and Johnathon Predovich, Evyn Grace
5 Taylor, and Lorelei Caravello; the devoted son of the late John
6 J. and Mary Predovich; the dear brother of Nancy (the late
7 Rick) Prevatte and the late Robert J. Predovich; and the fond
8 uncle of many; therefore, be it
 
9     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
10 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
11 his family and friends, the passing of Harold J. "Hal"
12 Predovich; and be it further
 
13     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14 presented to the family of Harold Predovich as an expression of
15 our sympathy.
