SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bonnie Lou Eickholz of Metropolis, who passed away on December 23, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Eickholz was of the Baptist faith; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Eickholz was preceded in death by her father, Chellis Y. Larrison, and her grandson, Logan Eickholz; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Eickholz is survived by her husband, James T. Eickholz; her mother, Helen Larrison; her daughter, Savonna Durst; her sons, Jamie Eickholz and wife, Shelly, and Chad Eickholz; her sisters, Phyllis Altenberger, Gloria Smith, and Gayla Gregory; her grandchildren, Brittany Kotter, Shaunna Hornback, Dylan Eickholz, and Ian Durst; her great-grandchildren, Collin Hornback, Liberty Hornback, and Nolan Kotter; and her many nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Eickholz will be remembered by all who knew and loved her as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Bonnie Lou Eickholz; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bonnie Eickholz as an expression of our sympathy.
