SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Wilma Jean (Kolisek) Nangle of Logan, who
4 passed away on February 19, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Wilma Jean Nangle was born on February 13, 1934 in
6 Zeigler; her parents were Frank Kolisek, Sr. and Julia Barbara
7 Fizel; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Wilma Jean Nangle was a graduate of the VTI School
9 of Nursing; and
 
10     WHEREAS, Wilma Jean Nangle served as an LPN at Franklin
11 Hospital in Benton for more than 35 years, serving most of her
12 time in the emergency room; she was named Nurse of the Month
13 while working at the hospital; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Wilma Jean Nangle was preceded in death by her
15 parents; her daughter, JoAnn Nangle; her brothers, Jim, Frank
16 Jr., and Fred Kolisek; her sister, Irma Canning; her niece,
17 Julie Ann Moore; and her uncle, John Fizel Jr.; and
 
18     WHEREAS, Wilma Jean Nangle is survived by her son, John
19 Nangle; her brother, John Kolisek and his wife, Janet; her
20 sisters, Rose Ann and Mike Kosor, Margaret Rice, Beverly

1 Kolisek, and Kay Ellis and her husband, Dick; her
2 sister-in-law, Marietta Kolisek; and her many nieces, nephews,
3 great-nieces, and great-nephews; and
 
4     WHEREAS, Wilma Jean Nangle will be remembered by all who
5 knew and loved her as a wonderful caregiver and a true friend,
6 whose love and pride for her family was unmatched; therefore,
7 be it
 
8     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
9 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10 her family and friends, the passing of Wilma Jean Nangle; and
11 be it further
 
12     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13 presented to the family of Wilma Jean Nangle as an expression
14 of our sympathy.
