SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Karl S. Csiszer of Plano, who passed away
4on November 21, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Karl Csiszer was born on August 17, 1950, in
6Leoben, Austria; he was the son of Paul and Julianna
7(Reichardt) Csiszer; he married Laurie Orzechowski on November
810, 1973, in Chicago; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Karl Csiszer was a 1968 graduate of Plano High
10School; he subsequently attended Illinois State University and
11graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1974; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Karl Csiszer was the owner and operator of The Eye
13Care Center in Sandwich for over 25 years; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Karl Csiszer was a member of numerous clubs and
15organizations, including St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano,
16where he was in the Holy Name Society, the Sandwich Rotary
17Club, where he was a Paul Harris Fellow, the Somonauk Lions
18Club, the Plano Jaycees, and the Illinois Optometric
19Association; he was also a board member of the Fox Valley Older
20Adults; and

1    WHEREAS, Karl Csiszer enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing
2cards, traveling, gardening, volunteering, community service,
3socializing with his friends, watching the Chicago White Sox,
4and spending time with his family; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Karl Csiszer was preceded in death by his parents
6and his daughter, Jennifer; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Karl Csiszer is survived by his wife, Laurie; his
8children, Valerie (Ryan) Jackman and Daniel Csiszer; his
9sisters, Anna (LaVerne) Fox and Julie (Dean) Clark; his
10brother, Paul (Olga) Csiszer, Jr.; his several nieces and
11nephews; and his many friends; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
14his family and friends, the passing of Karl S. Csiszer; and be
15it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Karl Csiszer as an expression of our
18sympathy.
