SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Judith Ann Robbins (nee, Will) who passed away on December 2, 2010; and

WHEREAS, She had a great love of family, cards, and sports, especially her Chicago Cubs; she was an avid softball, tennis, and basketball player; and

WHEREAS, She attended the Cathedral of St. Raymond Grade School, graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1976, and was employed at Al Baskin/Mark Shale for 20 years; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Mary M. (nee Long) Will; her nephew, David; and her great-niece, Cami; and

WHEREAS, Judith Robbins is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Andrew L. Robbins; her sisters, Patti (Bill) Widlowski, Peggy (Willie) Simpson, Mary (Paul) Jaworski, and Jacquie (Tony) Sartoris; her brother, Jim (Paulie) Will; her in-laws, Danny and Judy (Keigher) Robbins; her brothers-in-law, Patrick (Kim) and Marty (Kristin) Robbins; her sisters-in-law, Sally (Matt) Gore, Katie (Mike) Horath, and Mollie (Jason) Grizzle; her 34 nieces and nephews; her 21 great-nieces and nephews; and her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Judith Robbins; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Judith Robbins as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
