SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Daniel J. Seidl, who passed away on September 19, 2010; and

WHEREAS, He was born on August 5, 1989 to Jim and Nicki Seidl in Palos Heights; he attended Most Holy Redeemer School and Evergreen Park Community High School, graduating in 2008; and

WHEREAS, His photograph, "Sad Story" hangs in the halls of Evergreen Park Community High School as an example of his photography skills; and

WHEREAS, He attended Moraine Valley Community College and simultaneously Columbia College, working on photography; he then transferred to Southern Illinois University to major in photojournalism; and

WHEREAS, While attending Southern Illinois University he worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Carbondale, volunteering over 200 hours of service to the organization; he also enjoyed music and skateboarding; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Seidl was the cherished and loving son of Nicolette (nee Panico) and James J. Seidl; the devoted brother of Joseph and Laura; the beloved grandson of Joseph (and the late Phyllis) Seidl, Carmen and Sharon Panico, and Arline and Robert Esposito; and the treasured nephew and cousin of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Daniel Seidl; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Daniel Seidl as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
