SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Theodore Ross Diaz, formerly of Alton and the Alton area, who passed away on October 10, 2010; and

WHEREAS, He was born on March 2, 1953, in Alton, to Theodore Emilio Diaz and Delorice Armbruster Diaz; and

WHEREAS, He graduated from Southern Illinois University and from the Northern Illinois University College of Law; and

WHEREAS, Before moving to California, he was a practicing attorney in the Alton area for the past 28 years, as well as a nature photographer; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Diaz is survived by his children, Nathaniel T. Diaz, Jonathan D. Diaz, and Anna Diaz Linenfelser and her husband, Charles; his siblings and their spouses, Linda A. and Michael J. Diaz, Susan D. and William M. Saunders, and Sharon E. Diaz; his grandson, Charles A. L. Linenfelser; and his nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Theodore Diaz; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Theodore Diaz as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
