| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of Thomas Szostak of Lindenhurst, formerly | | 4 | | of Waukegan, who passed away on August 25, 2010; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Szostak was born in Waukegan on January 26, | | 6 | | 1958; and
| | 7 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Szostak retired as a fireman with the City | | 8 | | of Waukegan on August 17, 2010, after 20 years of service and | | 9 | | was a member of the International Association of Firefighters | | 10 | | #473; and
| | 11 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Szostak was preceded in death by his mother | | 12 | | Nancy as well as his grandparents; and
| | 13 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Szostak is survived by his sons, Joseph | | 14 | | (Kristin Jorgensen) Szostak and Thomas Szostak; his parents, | | 15 | | George and Eva Szostak; his brothers, Bill (Debbie) Szostak, | | 16 | | Terry Szostak, Rick Stuck, and Ron Stuck; his former wives, | | 17 | | Maria Szostak and Holly Royce-Tiltges; his numerous aunts, | | 18 | | uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special friend, | | 19 | | Penny Denos; therefore, be it
