    Amends the Community Senior Services and Resources Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning definitions.

1     AN ACT concerning aging.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Community Senior Services and Resources Act
5 is amended by changing Section 15 as follows:
 
6     (320 ILCS 60/15)
7     Sec. 15. Definitions. For the the purposes of this Act:
8     "Advisory Committee" means the Community Senior Services
9 and Resource Center Advisory Committee created under Section
10 35.
11     "Center" means a community senior services and resource
12 center.
13     "Department" means the Department on Aging.
14     "Director" means the Director of Aging.
15     "Senior" means an individual 60 years of age or older.
16     "Home or community based services" includes the following:
17 elder abuse; home-delivered meals; case management; wellness
18 and fitness programs; counseling; adult day services; respite
19 care; senior benefits outreach; congregate meals; long-term
20 care ombudsman services; job training and placement;
21 transportation; chore homemaker services; caregiver support;
22 computer literacy; and any program that assists participants in
23 avoiding inappropriate institutional placement or addresses

1 participants' health, safety, or well-being, regardless of
2 whether the service is received in a participant's home or in
3 an institutional setting and a majority of participants are
4 seniors or family of seniors.
