Amends the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning rules.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning education.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Educational Labor Relations Act is amended by changing Section 9 as follows:

Sec. 9. Board Rules. The The Board shall promulgate rules and regulations governing the appropriateness of bargaining units, representation elections, employee petitions for recognition and procedures for voluntary recognition of employee organizations by employers.
