620 ILCS 5/25.01

Amends the Illinois Aeronautics Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the acquisition and maintenance of airports in adjoining states.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning transportation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Aeronautics Act is amended by changing Section 25.01 as follows:

(620 ILCS 5/25.01) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.25a)

Sec. 25.01. This state or any political subdivision of this state is authorized to acquire, establish, construct, own, control, lease, equip, improve, maintain and and operate airports, or restricted landing areas, or other air navigation facilities in an adjoining state whose laws permit, subject to the laws of such state, but subject to the laws of this state in all matters relating to financing such projects.
