    Amends the Prevailing Wage Act. Makes a technical change in a Sectionconcerning construction of the Act.

1     AN ACT concerning employment.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Prevailing Wage Act is amended by changing
5 Section 12 as follows:

6     (820 ILCS 130/12)  (from Ch. 48, par. 39s-12)
7     Sec. 12. If any section, sentence, clause or part of this
8 act, is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such
9 decision shall not affectthe~~the~~ remaining portions of this
10 act. The General Assembly hereby declares that it would have
11 passed this Act, and each section, sentence, clause, or part
12 thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more sections,
13 sentences, clauses, or parts might be declared
14 unconstitutional.
