HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Eugene E. Lowery, Undersheriff of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, on his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Undersheriff Lowery has served the people of McHenry County for twenty years and will retire on March 26, 2010; and

WHEREAS, He started his career with the McHenry County Sheriff's Office on July 10, 1989; he was assigned to the Detective Division on April 15, 1990; and he was promoted to Sergeant on July 10, 1994; and

WHEREAS, On April 27, 1997 he was promoted to Lieutenant; on June 27, 2003 he became Undersheriff and received the rank of Major on May 11, 2006; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Undersheriff Eugene E. Lowery on his retirement and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Undersheriff Eugene E. Lowery as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
