HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Cherisse Tiffany Wilson, who passed away on January 18, 2010; and

WHEREAS, She was born on January 14, 1989 to Dennis and Sylvia Wilson; she accepted Christ early in her life; and

WHEREAS, She graduated from Aurora Christian School in 2007; she was continuing her education at Illinois State University in Normal, majoring in broadcasting and journalism; and

WHEREAS, Cherisse enjoyed reading, writing poetry, music, dancing, singing, and spending time with her family and friends; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Royal Price; her paternal grandparents, James C. and Annie B. Wilson; and her aunts, Lauta Joyner and Carmelita Price; and

WHEREAS, Cherisse Tiffany Wilson is survived by her parents; her sisters, Chelsea Lynette Wilson, Chanel Renee Wilson, and Tiana Amos; her maternal grandmother, Mary Price; her aunts and uncles, Marlene (Warren) Elmore, Bonita (Ken) Young, Alvin Joyner, Pamela (Gregory) Mines, Michael Wilson, and James Hatcher; her cousins, Kasi (Derick) Scarbrough, Lyden Joyner, Royal Elmore, Robert Elmore, Richard Elmore, Ryan Elmore, Kiara Young, Britney Young, Brianna Young, Andrea Mines, and Gregory Mines; and a host of other family and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Cherisse Wilson; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Cherisse Wilson as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
