1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate James and Marilyn
4 Aylward of Chicago on their 50th wedding anniversary; and

5     WHEREAS, They were married on November 14, 1959 and have
6 seven children: Mary, James, Peter, Dan, Marguerite, Patrick,
7 and Genevieve; they are long-time parishioners of St. Francis
8 Borgia Church; and

9     WHEREAS, Both James and Marilyn were born and raised in
10 Chicago; and

11     WHEREAS, James worked as a city electrician before his
12 retirement; he served in the United States Army and is a huge
13 Chicago White Sox fan; and

14     WHEREAS, James and Marilyn have eight grandchildren:
15 Phillip, Natalie, James, Jonathon, Matthew, Christopher,
16 Kaitlin, and Hunter; therefore, be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate James and Marilyn Aylward on this special occasion
20 and wish them all the best for their future; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to James and Marilyn Aylward as a symbol of our
3 respect and esteem.
