HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the staff and directors of Buyers Market Inc. in Chicago on their years of serving the Chicago area; and

WHEREAS, Buyers Market Inc., "Chicagoland's Finest Flea Market", was started in 1980; it was rebuilt in 1990 after a fire; over 5,000 shop at Buyers Market on a weekly basis; and

WHEREAS, Over 300 vendors have been a part of Buyers Market since its origin with families handing down their spaces from generation to generation; and

WHEREAS, The President of Buyers Market is Leonard Kraus; the Vice-Presidents are Gregory Morand and Richard Jacobs; the Concessions Manager is Peter Meyers; and the Secretary is Mercie Rangel; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the staff and directors of Buyers Market Inc. on their years of service to the people of the Chicago area; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Leonard Kraus as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
