HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Lin-Mar Motors in Morton Grove on fifty-plus years of service to the community; and

WHEREAS, Lin-Mar Motors was started by Wally Lundin and has become a one-stop automotive service business, taking care of the needs of car owners in the Morton Grove area; and

WHEREAS, Wally's son, Ron Lundin, purchased the business in 1992 and expanded the business with the acquisition of Eckhardt Glass and Upholstery, making Lin-Mar Motors an even bigger full-service automotive service center; and

WHEREAS, Ron and his sons, Ron Jr. and Tony, his wife, Pam, and his daughter, are all involved in the family business; and

WHEREAS, In 2004 Lin-Mar Motors was named the business of the year by the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and

WHEREAS, Ron Lundin served as the President of the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce in 2006, and supports the Morton Grove Foundation, the LaPoni Foundation, the Cerebral Palsy Union, and many other local organizations; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Lin-Mar Motors owner Ron Lundin and his staff on fifty-plus years of service and wish them the best for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Lin-Mar Motors owner Ron Lundin as a symbol of our respect.
