1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Lottie A. Rzewski
4 of Chicago on the occasion of her 90th birthday; and

5     WHEREAS, Lottie Rzewski continues to be a very active
6 resident of Chicago's northwest side after retiring in 1986 as
7 a certified bilingual teacher for the Chicago Board of
8 Education; and

9     WHEREAS, Lottie Rzewski is an active member of several
10 senior organizations on Chicago's northwest side; her
11 contributions to these organizations have been recognized
12 through the Chicago Park District's "Senior Citizen of the
13 Year" award and the Cook County Sheriff's "Medal of Honor"; and

14     WHEREAS, Lottie Rzewski richly deserves the warm and fond
15 wishes of her family members and friends as she marks her 90th
16 birthday with a celebration on August 9, 2009; therefore, be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate Lottie A. Rzewski on the occasion of her 90th
20 birthday and wish her many happy and healthy years to come; and
21 be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to Lottie Rzewski as an expression of our esteem and
3 respect.
