1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, Erik Blomstedt will retire as Director of the
3 Three Rivers Library District after 31 years of dedicated
4 service to the citizens of the Villages of Channahon and
5 Minooka; and

6     WHEREAS, The Villages of Channahon and Minooka will honor
7 Erik Blomstedt with a celebration on June 20, 2009; and

8     WHEREAS, Erik Blomstedt has served as a model of hard work,
9 integrity, and dedication for the people of Channahon and
10 Minooka and for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore,
11 be it

12     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
13 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
14 designate the date of June 20, 2009 as Erik Blomstedt Day in
15 the State of Illinois; and be it further

16     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17 presented to Erik Blomstedt as a symbol of our esteem and
18 respect.
