HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Michael Hughes, Director of Coles, Cumberland, and Edgar County Court Services, on his retirement, June 30, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Michael Hughes is the loving husband of Patricia and the loving father of Danielle and Michael; and

WHEREAS, He was hired on January 15, 1975 and has grown Court Services into a place offering professional and quality services to all involved in the court system; and

WHEREAS, He has dedicated thirty-three years of service in this position and can now enjoy playing golf and relaxing; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Michael Hughes and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Michael Hughes as a symbol of our respect.
