HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Rebecca Hatcher for her 7th place finish in the 100-yard butterfly event at the 2010 IHSA State Meet; and

WHEREAS, Rebecca Hatcher is a senior at Oswego East High School; she currently holds the record at her school for the 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard medley relay, and 200-yard free relay events; and

WHEREAS, Rebecca Hatcher is a 4-time varsity letter winner and a 4-time State qualifier; she is a 4-time all-conference champion and a conference champion in 2 events; she has also been designated All-State, as well as All-American twice; and

WHEREAS, Rebecca Hatcher serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Rebecca Hatcher for her impressive performance and wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Rebecca Hatcher as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
