1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Breese Central
4 High School Girls Volleyball Team, the Cougars, on winning
5 second place in the I.H.S.A. Class 2A State finals on November
6 12, 2010; and

7     WHEREAS, The Cougars lost in 3 games to Chicago Christian;
8 and

9     WHEREAS, It was the first appearance at the State finals
10 for the Cougars since 2007; and

11     WHEREAS, The Varsity Coach of the Cougars is Jim Cook; the
12 Assistant Coaches are Kelly Potthast and Misty Becker; and the
13 Scorer is Christine Rickhoff; and

14     WHEREAS, The members of the Breese Central Girls Volleyball
15 Team are: Lauren Markus, Meredith Timmons, Shelby Kohrmann,
16 Jena Hemann, Emily Theising, Taylor Voss, Taylor Wilken, Paige
17 Mane, Amanda Gebke, Jessica Hale, Ali Lakenburges, Maddie
18 Timmermann, and Casey Schulte; therefore, be it

19     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1 congratulate the Breese Central Cougars and wish them continued
2 success in the future; and be it further

3     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4 presented to the Breese Central High School Girls Volleyball
5 Team as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
