1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the owners and
4 employees of Skinners' Amusements, Inc., on the occasion of the
5 organization's 100th anniversary; and

6     WHEREAS, Skinners' Amusements, Inc., was founded in
7 Crystal Lake in 1910 by George Skinner; and

8     WHEREAS, Skinners' Amusements, Inc., has remained a
9 family-owned and operated carnival business that has served
10 county fairs, celebrations, hometown events, and picnics
11 throughout northern Illinois, some of which for over 50 years;
12 and

13     WHEREAS, Skinners' Amusements, Inc., is a member of 12
14 Illinois Chambers of Commerce and all carnival-related
15 organizations; therefore, be it

16     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
18 congratulate the owners and employees of Skinners' Amusements,
19 Inc., on the occasion of the organization's 100th anniversary
20 and wish them continued success and happiness in the future;
21 and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to Skinners' Amusements, Inc., as a symbol of our
3 esteem and respect.
