HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the
4 Jacksonville Turner Junior High School Titans girls volleyball
5 team on the occasion of the team's victory at the IESA Class 4A
6 State Championship; and
 
7     WHEREAS, The Jacksonville Turner Junior High School Titans
8 beat the Frankfort Summit Hill Spartans 25-20 and 25-21 in
9 Clinton on March 23, 2010, to secure victory at the IESA Class
10 4A State Championship; and
 
11     WHEREAS, The Jacksonville Turner Junior High School Titans
12 ended their season with a phenomenal 22-4 record; and
 
13     WHEREAS, The members of the Jacksonville Turner Junior High
14 School Titans are Lauren Hadden, Tiffanie Lacy, Clara Lee,
15 Maggie McNeal, Morgan McKinnon, Katie Crawford, Maddy Albers,
16 Sarah Thornley, Jacey Pate, Brooke Woods, Jaelyn Keene, Maria
17 Rubin de Celis, Kaylie Steckel, Anna Fergurson, and Sami
18 Suttles; the team's coach is Paula Stewart, the assistant coach
19 is Lesley Dillard, and the team manager is Hannah DeGroot; and
 
20     WHEREAS, The members of the Jacksonville Turner Junior High
21 School Titans serve as models of hard work, integrity, and

1 dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore,
2 be it
 
3     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
4 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
5 congratulate the members of the Jacksonville Turner Junior High
6 School Titans girls volleyball team for the team's victory and
7 wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be
8 it further
 
9     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10 presented to Jacksonville Turner Junior High School Titans head
11 coach Paula Stewart as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
