AN ACT concerning local government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act is amended by changing Section 4.17 as follows:

(70 ILCS 2605/4.17) (from Ch. 42, par. 323.17)

Sec. 4.17. Said civil service board shall, on or before the 31st 15th day of January of each year, make to the trustees a report showing its own action, the rules in force, the practical effects thereof and any suggestions it may approve for the more effectual accomplishment of the purposes of this Act. The trustees may require a report from said civil service board at any time.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
