SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
35 ILCS 516/100

    Amends the Mobile Home Local Services Tax Act. Provides that the annual tax judgment, sale, redemption, and forfeiture record must include the vehicle identification number only if the number is known. Effective immediately.

1     AN ACT concerning revenue.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Mobile Home Local Services Tax Enforcement
5 Act is amended by changing Section 100 as follows:
 
6     (35 ILCS 516/100)
7     Sec. 100. Annual tax judgment, sale, redemption, and
8 forfeiture record. The collector shall transcribe into a record
9 prepared for that purpose, and known as the annual tax
10 judgment, sale, redemption, and forfeiture record, the list of
11 delinquent mobile homes. The record shall contain all the
12 information necessary to be recorded, at least 5 days before
13 the day on which application for judgment is to be made.
14     The record shall set forth the name of the owner and the
15 street, common address, and mobile home park where the mobile
16 home is sited, if known; a description of the mobile home,
17 including the vehicle identification number, if known, model
18 year, and square footage; the year or years for which the tax
19 is due; the valuation on which the tax is extended; the amount
20 of the consolidated and other taxes; the costs; and the total
21 amount of charges against the mobile home.
22     The record shall also be ruled in columns to show the
23 amount paid before entry of judgment; the amount of judgment

1 and a column for remarks; the amount paid before sale and after
2 entry of judgment; the amount of the sale; amount of interest
3 or penalty; amount of cost; amount forfeited to the State; date
4 of sale; name of purchaser; amount of sale and penalty; taxes
5 of succeeding years; interest and when paid, interest and cost;
6 total amount of redemption; date of redemption; when
7 certificate of title executed; by whom redeemed; and a column
8 for remarks or receipt of redemption money.
9     The record shall be kept in the office of the county clerk.

11     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12 becoming law.
