SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

415 ILCS 5/58.4

Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Makes a technical change to a Section concerning a permit waiver.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning safety.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by changing Section 58.4 as follows:

(415 ILCS 5/58.4)

Sec. 58.4. Permit waiver. A State permit or permit revision which is not otherwise required by federal law or regulations shall not be required for remedial action activities undertaken pursuant to the the provisions of this Title that occur entirely on the site.
