    Amends the Nursing Home Grant Assistance Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning fees.

1     AN ACT concerning public aid.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Nursing Home Grant Assistance Act is amended
5 by changing Section 15 as follows:
 
6     (305 ILCS 40/15)  (from Ch. 23, par. 7100-15)
7     Sec. 15. Fee.
8     (a) A nursing home that that is a distribution agent under
9 this Act shall file with the Department on or before the last
10 day of September, December, March and June a certification
11 disclosing the following information:
12         (1) the name of each eligible individual residing in
13     the nursing home during one or more days of the quarter
14     immediately preceding the quarter in which the
15     certification is made;
16         (2) for each eligible individual, the eligible
17     individual's annual income from all sources for the year
18     immediately preceding the year in which the certification
19     with respect to that individual is made;
20         (3) the total number of occupied bed days for each
21     eligible individual residing in the nursing home during the
22     quarter immediately preceding the quarter in which the
23     certification is made;

1         (4) the total number of occupied bed days for the
2     quarter immediately preceding the quarter in which the
3     certification is made.
4     (b) A nursing home making a certification under this Act
5 shall pay to the Department at the time of filing the
6 certification with the Department a fee in the amount of $1 for
7 each occupied bed day for the quarter immediately preceding the
8 quarter in which the certification is made. The certification
9 required by this Act may be made on forms provided by the
10 Department for such purpose or in such form as substantially
11 conforms to such requirements as the Department may provide by
12 rule.
13     This fee may not be billed or passed on to any resident or
14 third-party payor.
