SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

625 ILCS 5/20-204

from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 20-204

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code by providing that a county may adopt all or any portion of the Illinois Vehicle Code by reference. Provides that a county or municipality may set minimum and maximum penalties that are at least as stringent as the penalties for violations provided by the Illinois Vehicle Code.

AN ACT concerning local government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing Section 20-204 as follows:
