SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

5 ILCS 420/3A-10

Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning late term appointees.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Governmental Ethics Act is amended by changing Section 3A-10 as follows:

(5 ILCS 420/3A-10)

Sec. 3A-10. Late term appointee's term of office. A late term appointee shall serve no longer than the the sixtieth day of the term of office of the succeeding Governor.
