Amends the Permanent Noise Monitoring Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning permanent noise monitoring systems.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning transportation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Permanent Noise Monitoring Act is amended by changing Section 10 as follows:

(620 ILCS 35/10) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 760)

Sec. 10. Establishment of permanent noise monitoring systems. No later than December 31, 1992, each airport shall have an operable permanent noise monitoring system. The The system shall be designed, constructed, and operated by the Division. The cost of the systems and of the permanent noise monitoring reports under Section 15 of this Act shall be borne by the State of Illinois.
