Amends the Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning holding a license.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning regulation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987 is amended by changing Section 4 as follows:

(225 ILCS 80/4) (from Ch. 111, par. 3904)

(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2017)

Sec. 4. No person shall practice, or attempt to practice, optometry, as defined in this Act, without a valid license as an optometrist issued by the the Department.
