AN ACT concerning education.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections 10-20.46 and 34-18.37 as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/10-20.46 new)

Sec. 10-20.46. Administrator and teacher salary and benefits; report. Each school board shall report to the State Board of Education, on or before July 1 of each year, the base salary and benefits of the district superintendent and all administrators and teachers employed by the school district. For the purposes of this Section, "benefits" includes without limitation vacation days, sick days, bonuses, annuities, and retirement enhancements.

Sec. 34-18.37. Administrator and teacher salary and benefits; report. The board shall report to the State Board of Education, on or before July 1 of each year, the base salary and benefits of the general superintendent of schools or chief executive officer and all administrators and teachers employed by the school district. For the purposes of this Section, "benefits" includes without limitation vacation days, sick days, bonuses, annuities, and retirement enhancements.

Section 10. The University of Illinois Act is amended by adding Section 45 as follows:

Sec. 45. Administrator and faculty salary and benefits; report. The Board of Trustees shall report to the Board of Higher Education, on or before July 1 of each year, the base salary and benefits of the president of the university and all administrators, faculty members, and instructors employed by the university. For the purposes of this Section, "benefits" includes without limitation vacation days, sick days, bonuses, annuities, and retirement enhancements.

Section 15. The Southern Illinois University Management Act is amended by adding Section 30 as follows:

The Board of Trustees shall report to the Board of Higher Education, on or before July 1 of each year, the base salary and benefits of the president of the university and all administrators, faculty members, and instructors employed by the university. For the purposes of this Section, "benefits" includes without limitation vacation days, sick days, bonuses, annuities, and retirement enhancements.

Section 20. The Chicago State University Law is amended by adding Section 5-140 as follows:
