SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marie M. Hedrick of Fox Lake, who passed away on September 28, 2008; and

WHEREAS, She was born in Germany to William and Susan (nee Fruehauf) Gruber on January 12, 1930; and

WHEREAS, Marie was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, and making soups from scratch; and she loved spending time with her grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Hedrick; her sons, George G. and William Hedrick; and her grandson, William Hedrick Jr.; and

WHEREAS, Marie Hedrick is survived by her son, Charles (Faith) Hedrick; her daughters-in-law, Margaret and Deborah Hedrick; her grandchildren, Amanda (Dan) Dunskis, George J. Hedrick, Charlene Hedrick, Sherry (Ryan) Pardue, Vincent Hedrick, Kayleigh Jackson, Jessica Hedrick, and Alisha Hedrick; and her great-grandchildren, Alison, Angelina, and Madelyn Dunskis, and Grace Pardue; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Marie Hedrick; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marie M. Hedrick as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
