SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Chester L. Kaiser of Springfield, who
4 passed away on September 23, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Chester L. Kaiser was employed by the Central
6 Illinois Public Service Company for 33 years before retiring in
7 2004; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Chester L. Kaiser enjoyed fishing, playing pool,
9 and woodworking; he also made hundreds of fishing lures and
10 gave them to his family and friends; he was a loyal fan and
11 friend of Tim Wilkerson, a local funny car race driver; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Chester L. Kaiser was preceded in death by his
13 parents and his dearly beloved brother, Eddie Ray Kaiser; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Chester L. Kaiser is survived by his wife, Millie;
15 his son, Kent (wife, Carol) Kaiser; his step-daughter, Donna
16 (husband, John) Pieper; his sisters, Kathryn Mueller and Patsy
17 Hardy; his granddaughter, Deborah (husband, Michael) Johnson;
18 his grandson, David (wife, Nicole) Pieper; his
19 great-grandchildren, Elliott, Colin, Noah, Dalton, and
20 Madelyn; and his several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and

1     WHEREAS, Chester L. Kaiser will be remembered by all who
2 knew and loved him for his great love for the Lord and for his
3 country; therefore, be it
 
4     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
6 his family and friends, the passing of Chester L. Kaiser; and
7 be it further
 
8     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9 presented to the family of Chester L. Kaiser as an expression
10 of our sympathy.
