SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marilyn T. Hosty of Forest Park, formerly of Oak Park, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, Marilyn T. Hosty, nee McNichols, was a lifelong educator who taught thousands; and

WHEREAS, She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Hosty, Sr.; she was the loving mother of Jeanne (Kent) Eckstrom, John (Barbara), and Ted (Sue) and Mark (Jennifer); the cherished grandma honey of Zachary, John III, Morgan, and Reagan; the fond aunt to so many nieces and nephews; the dear sister of Jeanne Jones, Frank McNichols, and the late Austin McNichols; and the sister-in-law of Patricia Donoghue; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Marilyn Hosty; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marilyn Hosty as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
