SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Shirley J. John; and

WHEREAS, Shirley J. John was the beloved wife of the late Raymond W. John, the loving mother of Dennis and Gary (Cathy), the dear grandmother of Jason (Melissa), Christine, and Colleen, the dearest great-grandmother of Ryan and Gracie, and the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, Shirley J. John's love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Shirley J. John; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Shirley J. John as an expression of our sympathy.
