SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Debra Anne Jackson, who passed away on
4 July 17, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Debra Anne Jackson was born on April 11, 1958 in
6 Chicago; her parents were George and Angeline Jackson; and
 
7     WHEREAS, Debra Anne Jackson attended St. Anne Grammar
8 School, Unity High School, and Loop Junior College; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Debra Anne Jackson was employed at the Dawson
10 Technical College as an adult educator, the UIC Eye Institute
11 as a receptionist, and at Evanston Hospital as a companion to
12 patients; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Debra Anne Jackson was preceded in death by her
14 father, George Jackson Sr., and her sister, Emma Lee; and
 
15     WHEREAS, Debra Anne Jackson is survived by her loving
16 mother, Angeline; her children, Nataki Rose and Naeem Prentiss
17 Jackson; her grandson, Travis Castleberry; her brothers,
18 George Jackson (Leslie) and Prentiss Jackson (Cynthia); her
19 sisters, Delores Jackson Wolfley, Rosemary Jackson Lawson
20 (William), Angela Jackson, Sharon Jackson Sanders, Betty

1 Jackson Uzell (Thomas), and Margaret Jackson Stewart; her
2 uncle, Charlie Jackson; her aunt, Emma B. Moore; and her many
3 relatives and friends; and
 
4     WHEREAS, Debra Anne Jackson will be remembered by all who
5 knew and loved her as a gentle, loving, intelligent, and
6 beautiful woman whose love for her family was unmatched;
7 therefore, be it
 
8     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
9 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10 her family and friends, the passing of Debra Anne Jackson; and
11 be it further
 
12     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13 presented to the family of Debra Anne Jackson as an expression
14 of our sympathy.
