SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Camden Belfield of Waverly, formerly of East Peoria, who passed away on July 21, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Camden Belfield was born on February 10, 2000 in Peoria; his parents were James Belfield and Annette Rees; and

WHEREAS, Camden Belfield was a student at Waverly Elementary School and was planning to start Junior Football League at Waverly-New Berlin this year; and

WHEREAS, Camden Belfield loved to ride his skateboard, ride his bike, and play with his sister; and

WHEREAS, Camden Belfield was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Wilbur Summers; and

WHEREAS, Camden Belfield is survived by his mother, Annette Rees; his father, James Belfield; his sister, Katlin Renee Belfield; his paternal grandparents, James A. Belfield and Evelyn E. Belfield; maternal grandparents, Sharon Gualandi and Larry (Pam) Rees; and his great-grandmothers, Mildred L. Summers and Margaret Rees; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Camden Belfield; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Camden Belfield as an expression of our sympathy.
