SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Charles M. Kielma Jr. of Lockport, formerly of Cicero and Berwyn, who passed away on June 24, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Charles M. Kielma, Jr. was a police officer for 13 years in Oak Park and formerly a police officer in Cicero for 7 years; he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #8 and the Illinois Police Association; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Kielma attended Havlicek and Lincoln Junior High School in Berwyn, Morton East, and Morton College in Cicero; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father, Charles M. Kielma Sr.; and his daughter, Elizabeth; and

WHEREAS, He is survived by his wife, Julie (nee Ordman); his daughter, Christine; his mother, Virginia; his mother-in-law, Betty Semro; his brothers-in-law, John (Kathy) Ordman and Michael (Carolyn) Ordman; his sister-in-law, Linda (Ken) Montelo; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Charles Kielma Jr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Charles Kielma Jr. as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
