SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Walter C. Ratledge of Germantown Hills, who passed away on March 10, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Walter C. Ratledge was a dedicated employee of the Illinois American Water Company for 38 years; and

WHEREAS, Walter C. Ratledge is survived by his wife, Karen; and

WHEREAS, Walter C. Ratledge will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as a generous and caring volunteer who contributed to numerous organizations to benefit the lives of the community's residents and their families; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Walter C. Ratledge; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Walter C. Ratledge as an expression of our sympathy.
