SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Norma Jean Robison of Waukegan, who passed away on February 13, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Norma Jean Robison was born on March 1, 1935 in Waukegan; her parents were Harold and Vinis (nee Lees) Tennyson; she remained a resident of Waukegan her entire life; and

WHEREAS, Norma Jean Robison was a former employee of Abbott Laboratories; and

WHEREAS, Norma Jean Robison was a member of St. Anastasia Parish; and

WHEREAS, Norma Jean Robison was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers and sisters, Edward (Thora) Tennyson, Roger Tennyson, Maxine (Ralph) Girdley, Florence (Donald) Rector, Rita (Robert) Hayman, and Wilma Tennyson; and

WHEREAS, Norma Jean Robison is survived by her husband, John Robison; her sons, Gary (Leslie) Robison and David Robison; her granddaughter, Sarah Kutzler; her great-grandchildren, Staci, Alyssa, and Mackenzie; her brothers and sisters, Dorothy Girdley, Louise (Stanley) Gamble, Otto (Norma) Tennyson, Barbara Tennyson, Marilyn (Donald) Arnold, Neil (Gladys) Tennyson, Joyce Tennyson, John (Carol) Tennyson, and Tim (Mary) Tennyson; her sister-in-law, Joan Robison; her brother-in-law, Carl (Phyllis) Robison; and her numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the death of Norma Jean Robison; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Norma Jean Robison as an expression of our sympathy.
