SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the recent passing of Kathleen T. Crehan, nee
4 Cavanaugh, of Lemont; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born in Chicago on February 19, 1940; and
 
6     WHEREAS, She was married to Martin Crehan for 46 years; and
 
7     WHEREAS, She was a Child Care Technician for St. Vincent's
8 Orphanage of Chicago for many years, taking care of children
9 from newborn to three years of age; she was a counselor to many
10 student nurses and a friend to many lonely mothers; through the
11 years she saw many babies go on to new homes and families; and
 
12     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael
13 and Nora Cavanaugh; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Kathleen Crehan was the loving wife of Martin; the
15 devoted mother of Sheila (Mike Manz), Brian (Debbie), Maureen
16 (Roger) Linde, Kathleen (Jim) Collins, Brenda (Adrian)
17 McVeigh, and Michael (Jelene); the cherished grandmother of
18 Brian, Bridget, Kevin, Maggie, Nora, Brendan, Daniel, and
19 Megan; the dear sister of Mamie (Jay) Griffin, Dan (Kay), Mike
20 (Terry), and John (Edie); and the fond aunt of many and a

1 great-friend to all; therefore, be it
 
2     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
3 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
4 her family and friends, the passing of Kathleen T. Crehan; and
5 be it further
 
6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to the family of Kathleen T. Crehan as a symbol of
8 our sincere sympathy.
