SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Richard Alford Bury of Gurnee, who passed away on July 5, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Richard Alford Bury was born on August 20, 1929 in Waukegan; his parents were John and Beatrice Bury; and

WHEREAS, Richard Alford Bury worked for Fansteel Metalurgicals of North Chicago for 40 years until his retirement in 1986; and

WHEREAS, Richard Alford Bury was preceded in death by his parents, John and Beatrice, and his brothers, Earl and Warren; and

WHEREAS, Richard Alford Bury is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Ann Bury, nee Barker; his children, Roger H. Bury, James (Carrie) Bury, and Deborah (Tate) Kopp; and his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Kopp, Kirstin Kopp, Alexis Bury, and Emily Bury; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Richard Alford Bury; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Richard Alford Bury as an expression of our sympathy.
