SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Phillip Casey of O'Fallon, who passed away on September 25, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Phillip Casey was born on March 17, 1962; his parents were Ronald Casey, Sr. and Catherine Casey; he was the sixth of seven children; and

WHEREAS, He loved the Lord and accepted Christ at an early age; he graduated from Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in Blue Island; he enlisted in the United States Air Force and he served his county for 20 years before his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Phillip Casey is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughters, Nicole and Mary; his son, Phillip II; his grandson, Malachi Casey; his mother, Catherine; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the death of Phillip Casey; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Phillip Casey as a symbol of our sympathy.
