SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Georgia Ann Gonzales of North Chicago, who passed away on July 23, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Georgia Ann Gonzales was born June 5, 1947 in Waukegan; she was a member of Holy Family Parish and prior to her retirement had worked at Abbott Laboratories; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Antoinette (nee Alvarado) Fernandez; her sister, Josephine Moog; and brother, Edward Fernandez; and

WHEREAS, Georgia Ann Gonzales is survived by her children, Lauren Morales and Michael (Leanna Rodriguez) Parker; her grandchildren, Adrien Gonzales and Maiya Morales; her sister, Barbara J. (Jose) Lopez; her nephew, David Thomas; her two nieces, Tina Lund and Julie Diaz; and her cousin, Danny (Carmen) Fernandez; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Georgia Ann Gonzales; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Georgia Ann Gonzales as a symbol of our sympathy.
