SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Virginia McCoy Hutchison of Joliet, who
4 passed away on May 25, 2007; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Virginia McCoy Hutchison was born on November 20,
6 1912 in York, Pennsylvania; she married Judge Stewart C.
7 Hutchison on April 17, 1937; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Virginia McCoy Hutchison was a member of St.
9 Edwards and Christ Episcopal Church and a member of the
10 Whatsoever Girls Circle; she was a charter member of Kings
11 Daughters, a patroness of Holly Club, and a member of
12 Childerguild; and she was a past member of the Joliet Country
13 Club; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Virginia McCoy Hutchison was preceded in death by
15 her husband; her son, Douglas P. Hutchison; her parents, Robert
16 Douglas and Katie (Williams) McCoy; her sisters, Mildred McCoy
17 Brace and Janet Douglas McCoy; and her great grandson, Brady
18 Paul Seifert; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Virginia McCoy Hutchison is survived by her son,
20 Stewart C. (Sandra S.) Hutchison Jr.; her daughter-in-law,
21 Susan S. Hutchison; her grandchildren, Douglas P. (Leslie)

1 Hutchison Jr., Jill M. (Nick) Seifert, Megan M. (Doug) Dunlay,
2 Michael M. (Bonita) Hutchison, Angela M. (David) Frazier,
3 Timothy S. Hutchison, and David W. Hutchison; and her great
4 grandchildren, Griffin and Parker Seifert, Harley and McCoy
5 Hutchison, William L. Frazier, Douglas P. Hutchison III, and
6 Francis C. Dunlay V; therefore, be it
 
7     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
8 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
9 her family and friends, the passing of Virginia McCoy
10 Hutchison; and be it further
 
11     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12 presented to the family of Virginia McCoy Hutchison as an
13 expression of our sympathy.
