SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of George P. Poulos; and

WHEREAS, George P. Poulos served in the Army during World War II; he was a member of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, UAW Local 152, and the VFW Post of Burbank; and

WHEREAS, George P. Poulos was the beloved husband of Chryssanthi (nee Papandreou); the loving father of Dorothea Poulos and Peter (Lisbeth); the proud grandfather of George and Rose; the dear brother of Esther (late Anthony) Rupas; the fond uncle of Margo, Nick, Bill, and Peter Rupas, and many others; he was also the beloved cousin of the Kokines family; and he was a dear friend to many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of George P. Poulos; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of George P. Poulos as an expression of our sympathy.
